Notable:

• This was the trip where we couldn`t cash our American Express Travellers cheques anywhere.  Ended up going to a bank.
• We got food poisoning from the `Pasta Factory`in San Simeon, which ironically was our most expensive meal.
• The Hearst Castle had no public bathrooms.  You had to go in the Visitor Centre at the bottom of the hill, and access to the house was only by bus.
